Senate Order 13 (Murray Motion) on contracts
The Senate Order, also known as the Murray Motion, requires each minister to table a letter in the Senate for each reporting period, outlining compliance with the Senate Order for each entity in their portfolio.
To support compliance with the Senate Order, each entity must develop an internet listing twice a year that identifies contracts entered into during the preceding calendar or financial year, valued at or above $100,000 (GST inclusive), along with details relating to each of those contracts. The internet listing must include an assurance by the relevant accountable authority that the listed contracts do not contain any inappropriate confidentiality provisions.
1 July 2023 – 30 June 2024
IPEA does not have any non-procurement contracts to the value of $100,000 (GST inclusive) or more to report. IPEA’s procurement contracts are available in the AusTender Senate Order Report.
IPEA’s accountable authority has assured that the listed contracts do not contain any inappropriate confidentiality provisions.
The estimated cost of complying with this order was $50. The method used to estimate this cost was based on the number of hours spent compiling this information by IPEA staff.
