Booking parliamentarian travel
The current travel provider for parliamentarians is Corporate Travel Management (CTM). All flight bookings must be made with CTM.
Travel bookings
CTM can arrange all modes of transport on scheduled and unscheduled services, including charter flights, ferries, self-drive car hire, trains and coaches. CTM can also book your accommodation and provide assistance with other parliamentary business travel related services.
Parliamentarians use their Travel Profile Number (TPN) to book travel through CTM. A TPN also records individual preferences, such as seating and special dietary requirements.

CTM’s travel consultants are based in Australia and available to take bookings 24/7, 365 days a year.
COMCAR bookings
To book a COMCAR, information is available at the Ministerial and Parliamentary Services website.
Did you know?
IPEA answers questions about the use of COMCAR, and the Department of Finance answers questions about bookings and functions. COMCAR is the responsibility of the Department of Finance.
What do I need to do
For all scheduled flights (QANTAS,Virgin, etc) you must book through CTM.
CTM can also book charter flights, self-drive hire cars, and accommodation for you. Alternatively, you may book these yourself. Only flights for work travel must be booked through CTM.
Ground transport options: private plated vehicle (consider - is use reasonable), self-drive hire car (Hertz, Avis, etc), car with driver service (taxi/ride-share/COMCAR).
